Daniel Ankert and Magdalena Houser

Rev. Bok of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church supplied me with information regarding Elizabeth Ankert's christening. The record gives her parents names as Daniel and Maria Ankert. Referring to the baptism records from Rev. Bok, I found a marriage of "Daniel Amkert" and "Magdalena Hanser" recorded on familysearch.com. I requested and received the marriage record, dated 1 Nov 1852, and found it actually read "Ankert" and "Houser". The bride's name is different than that given as Elizabeth's mother, and the marriage date is suspiciously close to Elizabeth's birth date, but not enough to rule this couple out, I think.
