Visit parents after six years
Mr. and Mrs. John Umiker and little sons, Greg and Lennie, left by plane Tuesday for their home in Toronto, after a three-week holiday with Mr. Umiker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Umiker. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Garrett, Mrs. Umiker's parents.
It is six years since John left Ladner for a position as mechanical engineer in Toronto. He found many changes in Delta and in Vancouver.
Other guests over the Christmas holidays at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Umiker were Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Mehl and Von Umiker of Salem, Oregon, who are the mother and brother of Walter Umiker.
